Multi-Worlding
A giveaway, art reveal - and three books coming your way soon
Due to the quirks of publishing timelines and the cobbled-together career of an author with two publishers, I have three books coming out between 29 April and 6 August 2026. It’s A LOT.
Now I’ve come through the tricky bits (drafting and structural edits) of all three, the lower-pressure work of copy edits and proofreads allows me to really enjoy the story and pull out quotes to use in marketing (which I usually forget to do while I’m editing, but I try). I’m also running a giveaway of some paperbacks of Head Over Wheels to celebrate the imminent release of Don’t Brake My Heart, so a lucky two subscribers could win one (along with some swag). Details below, along with the exclusive character art sneak-peek!
It’s pretty much impossible for me to choose a single quote from each book, but here are some of my favourites:
From my favourite scene in this book, the classic, ‘Do you think we should kiss?’ moment!
‘When we get home, I’ll kiss you,’ he said carefully – a promise, one that sent anticipation down his spine.
‘Really, you don’t have—’
‘I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t want to. I’m… concerned your experiment will fail, that’s all.’
‘Fail how? You’ll catch my nose instead of my mouth?’
He couldn’t miss her mouth. Even when she was windsurfing today, her smile had carried to him from several metres away.
‘What if it’s a good kiss? What then?’ he challenged.
You guys are seriously NOT READY for Colin Gallagher’s POV in Don’t Brake My Heart. He just leaped off the page as soon as I started writing this one. And keep scrolling for the sneak-peek art reveal below!
‘You’ve made your apology and we’ve had some obligatory banter. You can go now,’ she said.
That response wasn’t the one I wanted. ‘Do you wanna go for a walk?’ I tried out.
‘Why?’ was her response, but I was just glad it wasn’t a straight no.
‘It’s so fuckin’ beautiful around here.’ Especially when she was standing in front of me.
‘Aren’t you supposed to be resting?’
‘A walk is restful, isn’t it? Therapeutic.’
‘Maybe you should just get therapy.’
I might need to if she kept breaking my heart with every word she uttered. But I deserved it, after what I’d pulled over the years.
I crossed my arms. ‘You still haven’t said no.’
‘I noticed that too,’ she mumbled.
And another throwaway line I love (they do go and get tattoos together later in the book):
Maybe I could get a skull and crossbones tattoo to remember her by.
Italy and Forever (cover reveal and pre-order coming soon, release date 6 August)
The skinny dipping scene was one of the earliest that I imagined for this book and it happens quite close to the beginning of the story, when Ginny and Rhys are rubbing each other the wrong way. And then Ginny is an accidental witness to this:
Why was he undressing on the bank of the lake?
She peered over the back of the bench and gasped, clapping a hand over her mouth as she did so. He was down to his tight boxer shorts, skin pale over lean muscle – quite a lot of muscle. She’d always assumed ‘six-pack’ indicated the number of abs that existed on the human body, but he had a whole spreadsheet down there, waffle-maker abs. He wasn’t bulky, like an overinflated body builder, just perfectly… inflated.
Instead of shivering and suffering – as Ginny would be doing if she stripped off when it was nine degrees out – he was calmly folding his shirt, adding it to the little pile of clothing next to his towel.
Her eyes widened at the towel, then squeezed shut as he whipped down the boxer shorts. Had she thought things between her and Rhys couldn’t get worse? If he saw her—
HEAD OVER WHEELS GIVEAWAY
To celebrate the pre-order launch of Don’t Brake My Heart, I’m giving away three paperback copies and one audiobook code of Head Over Wheels, including matching stickers and postcards for the paperbacks. Due to postage costs, two will be limited to UK entries (and the audiobook is limited to UK and Commonwealth, due to rights issues), but I’m willing to ship one globally. I appreciate each of you remaining a subscriber to my list - it makes an enormous difference to an author, so the giveaway will only be available on here (new subscribers will also be sent the giveaway link, so tell your friends!)

In more NEWS, I’ve got several events coming up! At the last minute, I’ve managed to sort out my attendance at RARE Berlin! I’m wildly excited about going back to Berlin (I used to live there, many moons ago). I’ll be signing at the Romance Author and Reader Event on 16th May, so come and see me if you’re there!
I’ll also be at the Meet Cute Festival on 4th July at Home Farm Glamping just north of London. I’m on a fun panel where we construct a romance plot with audience participation and I’ll also be signing my books there. Hopefully I’ll arrange one more signing in the UK while I’m there, so watch this space!
And now… what you’ve all been waiting for: Character art reveal!
I had so much fun working with the artist to bring Colin and Leesa to life. We worked particularly hard on Colin’s cheeky eyebrow, to try to capture the playful dynamic between these two (which covers some serious pining). I LOVE the result from the very talented Seaborn Studios.
It’s lovely to have you all joining me for the excitement of the next few months of new books and events. Having supporters helps this strung-out, introvert author cope with the demands of promoting my books when I’d be tempted to stay in my cave hanging out with my beloved characters.
I wish you happy reading and lots of great books
Leonie x
